Attention all West Frankfort Residents ~
Do you have tree branches down from the recent storms? The guidelines for pickup are as follows:
~All tree limbs must be on the curb, city workers are not allowed on private property to remove branches. They must be able to reach the pile from the road or alley.
~Sticks, branches and limbs will only be taken if they are less than 5ft-6ft in length and stacked neatly on the curb. The street department will not cut up trees down on your property.
If you have to hire a Tree Trimmer or company to cut up your tree, they are responsible to haul off your tree the City will not pick those up.
Any trees limbs or branches that are on power lines, cable lines, or any other utility line the homeowner must contact the utility company for removal.
We are out working to get the debris picked up, so please be patient and we will get by shortly.
